The Barton Bears (Lexa, AR) basketball crushed the host Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR), 83-59 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Bears now possess a 22-1 record. They play next when they travel to Hazen for a 2A Region 6 bout on Friday, January 24. Barton will play a Hornets team coming off a 22-18 league win over Des Arc (Des Arc, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 3-12.

With the loss, Rivercrest falls to 13-8 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Newport (Newport, AR) to play the Greyhounds in a 3A Region 3 bout on Friday, January 24. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 13-7.
