January 23, 2025: Hazleton, PA 18202 Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Wilkes-Barre Wolfpack (Wilkes-Barre, PA), 57-21 in a league match.
With the victory, Hazleton Area advances its record to 18-0 on the year. The Cougars travel to Berwick (Berwick, PA) to face the Bulldogs in a Wyoming Valley 1 match on Monday, January 27. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-14.
The Wolfpack now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lehigh Valley Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 31.
