Missouri High School Basketball - Helias fells Howell Central
January 23, 2025: Jefferson City, MO 65109 The Helias Crusaders basketball team scored 61 points and limited the visiting Howell Central Spartans to 47 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crusaders now have a 7-6 record. They play next when they travel to Nixa for a non-league game on Friday, January 24. Helias will confront a Eagles team coming off a 81-45 non-league win over Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 11-2.
With the loss, Howell Central falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, January 24. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 7-5. Notre Dame lost 40-34 in their recent non-league game against Doniphan (Doniphan, MO)
