Illinois High School Basketball - York fells Lake Forest Academy
January 23, 2025: Lake Forest, IL 60045 The York Dukes basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Lake Forest Academy Caxys to 43 in the Dukes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Dukes now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they host Downers Grove North for a West Suburban - Silver game on Saturday, January 25. York will confront a Trojans team coming off a 32-30 league loss to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 15-8.
With the loss, Lake Forest Academy falls to 15-4 on the campaign. The Caxys travel to Latin (Chicago, IL) to confront the Romans in a Independent School game on Tuesday, January 28. The Romans go into the game with a record of 13-6. Latin won 50-19 in their recent league game against Woodlands Academy (Lake Forest, IL)
