California High School Basketball - FAME holds off Castro Valley
January 23, 2025: Fremont, CA 94538 The FAME Panthers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Castro Valley Trojans to 56 in the Panthers league triumph on Thursday.
The Panthers now have a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to Silver Oak for a game on Monday, January 27. FAME will confront a Falcons team coming off a 54-52 non-league win over FAME (Fremont, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Castro Valley falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Berkeley (Berkeley, CA) to confront the Yellowjackets in a game on Thursday, January 23. The Yellowjackets go into the game with a record of 12-2. Berkeley won 62-28 in their recent non-league game against Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA)
