Florida High School Basketball - St. Joseph Academy sneaks past First Baptist Christian Academy
January 23, 2025: St. Augustine, FL 32084 The St. Joseph Academy Flashes (St. Augustine, FL) basketball edged the visiting First Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders (Bunnell, FL), 55-54 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Flashes now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Eagle's View for a non-league bout on Friday, January 24. St. Joseph Academy will play a Warriors team coming off a 67-54 non-league win over First Coast Christian (Jacksonville, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, First Baptist Christian Academy falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Father Lopez (Daytona Beach, FL) to play the Green Wave in a non-league bout on Monday, January 27. The Green Wave go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Father Lopez won 76-70 in their recent non-league bout against Legacy Charter (Ocoee, FL)
