Arizona High School Soccer - Buckeye knocks off Kellis
January 23, 2025: Buckeye, AZ 85326 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ) and the visiting Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), saw Buckeye's soccer squad triumph over Kellis by a score of 6-0.
The Hawks (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against McClintock (Tempe, AZ). The Chargers enter the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, McClintock was overwhelmed by North (Phoenix, AZ), 5-1, in a league battle.
Next up, the Cougars confront the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, January 27. Kellis will attempt to improve on its 2-6 season record. The Fighting Lobos enter the battle with a 5-8 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ).
