California High School Soccer - Lompoc nudges Morro Bay
January 23, 2025: Morro Bay, CA 93442 In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Lompoc Braves soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Morro Bay Pirates.
The Braves (4-8) will now prepare for their outing against St. Joseph (Santa Maria, CA). The Knights go into the Sunset outing with a 4-8 record. In their last outing, St. Joseph Atascadero (Atascadero, CA), 1-1, in a league outing.
Next up, the Pirates play the Mission College Prep Royals (San Luis Obispo, CA) in a Ocean outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Morro Bay will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Royals go into the outing with a 0-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Cabrillo (Lompoc, CA).
