The Trinity Christian Tigers basketball squad (Greenville, NC), was nudged 36-34 in Friday's league battle with the host Christ Covenant Spartans (Winterville, NC)

With the victory, Christ Covenant advances its record to 9-15 on the year. The Spartans host Hilltop Christian (Fuquay-Varina, NC) to encounter the Chargers in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 26. The Chargers come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Hilltop Christian lost 75-49 in their recent league challenge against Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC)

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC) in a Mid-Atlantic Christian - 2A North challenge, on Tuesday, January 27. Trinity Christian will attempt to improve on its 5-16 season record. The Cyclones come into the challenge with a 15-5 record after their 78-30 non-league win over Southside Christian (Clayton, NC).
