Kansas High School Basketball - Crest nips Eureka
January 23, 2026: Colony, KS 66015 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Crest Lancers basketball team scored a close 43-41 win over the Eureka Tornadoes.
The Lancers (10-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lyndon (Lyndon, KS). The Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Lyndon edged Council Grove (Council Grove, KS), 48-39, in a non-league match.
The Tornadoes now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caney Valley for a Tri-Valley match on Tuesday, January 27. Eureka will face a Bullpups squad coming off a 70-31 non-league loss to Riverfield Country Day (Tulsa, OK). The Bullpups record now stands at 8-4.
