In Friday's non-league test, the Scott Beavers (Scott City, KS) basketball squad trounced the host Trinity Celtics (Hutchinson, KS), by a score of 63-28.

Next, the Beavers encounter the Goodland Cowboys (Goodland, KS) in a Great Western test, on Tuesday, January 27. Scott will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Cowboys come into the test with a 7-8 record after their 48-41 non-league loss to Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO).
