California High School Basketball - Pinole Valley can't hold off West County
January 24, 2022: Sebastopol, CA 95472 The Pinole Valley Spartans basketball team (Pinole, CA), was nudged 42-41 in Monday's non-league battle with the host West County Team (Sebastopol, CA)
The Team now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Piner for a North Bay - Redwood battle on Wednesday, January 26. West County will battle a Prospectors team coming off a 69-31 league win over St. Vincent de Paul (Petaluma, CA). The Prospectors record now stands at 9-7.
The Spartans (14-3) will now prepare for their battle against Richmond (Richmond, CA). The Oilers come into the Tri-County - Stone battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Richmond edged Making Waves Academy (Richmond, CA), 64-39, in a non-league battle.
