Illinois High School Basketball - DuQuoin crushes Trico
January 24, 2022: Campbell Hill, IL 62916 DuQuoin Indians (DuQuoin, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL), 64-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, DuQuoin upgrades its record to 11-11 on the season. The Indians travel to Pinckneyville (Pinckneyville, IL) to clash with the Panthers in a Southern Illinois River-to-River - Mississippi bout on Friday, January 28. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Pinckneyville lost 56-42 in their recent non-league bout against Hamilton County (McLeansboro, IL)
Next up, the Pioneers clash with the Sparta Bulldogs (Sparta, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Trico will attempt to upgrade on its 4-15 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 63-44 non-league loss to Steeleville (Steeleville, IL).
