Holy Ghost Prep Firebirds (Bensalem, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA), 58-56 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Holy Ghost Prep upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Firebirds host Harry S. Truman (Levittown, PA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 27. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 1-8. Harry S. Truman lost 80-59 in their recent non-league bout against Pennridge (Perkasie, PA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) in a Pioneer - Frontier bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Pottstown will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 3-12 record after their 70-39 non-league loss to Emmaus (Emmaus, PA).
