The Lamoni Demons basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Murray Mustangs to 36 in the Demons league triumph on Monday.

The Demons now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clarke for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 1.

The Mustangs (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Moulton-Udell (Moulton, IA). The Eagles enter the Bluegrass contest with a 0-10 record. In their last contest, Moulton-Udell was nudged by Diagonal (Diagonal, IA), 64-36, in a league contest.
