Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Midd-West thwarts Northumberland Christian
January 24, 2022: Middleburg, PA 17842 The Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Northumberland Christian (Northumberland, PA), 62-48 in Monday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The RED TORNADOES go into the Heartland III test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, Mount Carmel went down by Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 73-71, in a non-league test.
The now own a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Millville for a non-league test on Friday, January 28. Northumberland Christian will encounter a Quakers squad coming off a 63-40 league loss to Montgomery (Montgomery, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 1-14.
