California High School Basketball - Menlo-Atherton trounces San Mateo
January 24, 2022: Atherton, CA 94027 The Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) basketball crushed the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 47-9 in Monday's league test.
The Bears (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Half Moon Bay (Half Moon Bay, CA). The Cougars go into the test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Half Moon Bay walloped Aragon (San Mateo, CA), 44-30, in a league test.
The Bearcats now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to El Camino for a test on Saturday, January 29. San Mateo will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 43-32 league loss to Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA). The Colts record now stands at 6-7.
