Virginia High School Basketball - Tunstall ripped by Chatham
January 24, 2022: Dry Fork, VA 24549 The Chatham Cavaliers basketball team scored 86 points and held the host Tunstall Trojans to 16 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nelson County for a Dogwood contest on Tuesday, January 25. Chatham will battle a Governors team coming off a 51-27 league win over Gretna (Gretna, VA). The Governors record now stands at 2-9.
The Trojans (0-13) will now prepare for their contest against Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA). The Warriors enter the Piedmont contest with a 11-2 record. In their last contest, Magna Vista triumphed over Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 60-56, in a non-league contest.
