The East Granby (CT) varsity basketball team won Monday's home conference game against East Windsor (CT) by a score of 51-39.
The East Granby Crusaders basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting East Windsor Panthers to 39 in the Crusaders league triumph on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Stafford for a North Central Connecticut contest on Tuesday, January 25. East Granby will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 60-17 league win over Sports & Medical Sciences Academy (Hartford, CT). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-2.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Somers (Somers, CT). The Spartans enter the North Central Connecticut contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Somers ran past Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
