Minnesota High School Basketball - St. Thomas Academy trounces Academy of Holy Angels
January 24, 2023: Mendota Heights, MN 55120 The St. Thomas Academy Cadets (Mendota Heights, MN) basketball crushed the visiting Academy of Holy Angels Stars (Richfield, MN), 68-45 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Cadets (8-5) will now prepare for their test against South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Packers go into the AAA Section 3 test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, South St. Paul walloped North (North St. Paul, MN), 67-55, in a non-league test.
The Stars now own a 5-9 record. They play next when they host Kennedy for a AAA Section 6 test on Friday, January 27. Academy of Holy Angels will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 69-60 non-league loss to St. Anthony Village (Minneapolis, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.
