The Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference game against Christ the King (Huntersville, NC) by a score of 75-70.
The Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Community School of Davidson Spartans to 70 in the Crusaders league victory on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln Charter for a 1A/2A Conference 39 contest on Friday, January 27. Christ the King will battle a Eagles team coming off a 87-40 league win over Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 15-11.
The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptor come into the 1A/2A Conference 39 contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Mountain Island Charter was nudged by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 60-47, in a league contest.
