January 24, 2023: Dalton, GA 30722 The Southwest Atlanta Christian Warriors basketball team (Atlanta, GA), was overwhelmed 84-53 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Christian Heritage Lions (Dalton, GA)
The Lions now possess a 18-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fulton Leadership Academy for a A D2 Region 7B battle on Friday, January 27. Christian Heritage will confront a Gryphons team coming off a 74-64 league win over Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA). The Gryphons record now stands at 7-7.
The Warriors (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Greenforest (Decatur, GA). The Eagles come into the A D2 Region 7B battle with a 11-7 record. In their last battle, Greenforest trounced Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, GA), 101-28, in a league battle.
