New York High School Basketball - Corcoran nudges Ithaca
January 24, 2023: Syracuse, NY 13207 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Corcoran Cougars (Syracuse, NY) basketball squad edged the visiting Ithaca Little Red (Ithaca, NY), by a count of 79-74.
The Cougars (5-9) will now prepare for their outing against Nottingham (Syracuse, NY). The Bulldogs go into the Section 3 Salt City - Metro outing with a 11-5 record. In their last outing, Nottingham held off Liverpool (Liverpool, NY), 66-48, in a league outing.
The Little Red now hold a 3-7 record. They play next when they travel to Johnson City for a non-league outing on Friday, January 27. Ithaca will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 68-63 non-league win over Horseheads (Horseheads, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-4.
