Fremont Eagles (Fremont, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN), 50-28 in a league bout.

With the win, Fremont upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Eagles travel to Prairie Heights (LaGrange, IN) to play the Panthers in a Northeast Corner bout on Friday, January 27. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-4. Prairie Heights lost 52-41 in their recent non-league bout against DeKalb (Waterloo, IN)

Next up, the Blazers play the Hamilton Marines (Hamilton, IN) in a Northeast Corner bout, on Thursday, February 2. Eastside will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Marines go into the bout with a 0-12 record after their 69-39 non-league loss to Bethany Christian (Goshen, IN).
