California High School Basketball - Vincent Memorial nips Imperial

Vincent Memorial Scots (Calexico, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Imperial Tigers (Imperial, CA), 59-58 in a league bout.

With the victory, Vincent Memorial upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Scots host Calipatria (Calipatria, CA) to play the Hornets in a Desert bout on Friday, January 27. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 10-12. Calipatria won 66-59 in their recent league bout against Holtville (Holtville, CA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Imperial will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 2-19 record after their 59-30 league loss to Central (El Centro, CA).
