January 24, 2023: Miami, OK 74354 The Verdigris Cardinals (Claremore, OK) basketball knocked off the host Miami Wardogs (Miami, OK), 56-46 in Tuesday's league test.
The Cardinals (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Oologah (Oologah, OK). The Mustangs go into the Verdigris Valley test with a 1-5 record.
The Wardogs now own a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Jay for a Verdigris Valley test on Friday, January 27. Miami will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Vinita (Vinita, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.
