North Carolina High School Basketball - NC GBB Academy National nips Winston-Salem Christian
January 24, 2023: Winston-Salem, NC 27105 NC GBB Academy National Eagles (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Winston-Salem Christian Lions (Winston-Salem, NC), 76-72 in a league bout.
With the win, NC GBB Academy National upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to IMG Academy Gray (Bradenton, FL) to play the Ascenders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 27. The Ascenders go into the bout with a record of 7-7. IMG Academy Gray lost 56-42 in their recent non-league bout against 212 Sports Academy (Sarasota, FL)
Next up, the Lions play the Comenius Knights (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Winston-Salem Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 82-16 non-league win over Riverwalk Academy (Rock Hill, SC).
