January 24, 2023: St. Edward, NE 68660 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the St. Francis Flyers (Humphrey, NE) and the host St. Edward Beavers (St. Edward, NE), saw St. Francis's basketball squad wallop St. Edward by a tally of 69-24.
With the victory, St. Francis improves its record to 11-4 on the campaign. The Flyers host Norfolk Catholic (Norfolk, NE) to confront the Knights in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Norfolk Catholic lost 55-52 in their recent non-league challenge against O'Neill (O'Neill, NE)
Next up, the Beavers confront the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades (Chambers, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. St. Edward will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Renegades come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 45-38 non-league win over Niobrara/Verdigre (Niobrara, NE).
