Kansas High School Basketball - Independent crushes Burrton
January 24, 2023: Burrton, KS 67020 Independent Panthers (Wichita, KS) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Burrton Chargers (Burrton, KS), 84-22 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Independent upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Panthers host Kingman (Kingman, KS) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-9.
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Reno County HomeSchool Sabres (Hutchinson, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Burrton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Sabres go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 44-30 non-league loss to Central Christian Academy (Wichita, KS).
