January 24, 2023: Milford, NE 68405 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Milford Eagles (Milford, NE) and the visiting Sutton Mustangs (Sutton, NE), saw Milford's basketball squad overcome Sutton by a tally of 39-27.
With the victory, Milford improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE) to confront the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Wilber-Clatonia lost 36-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Palmyra (Palmyra, NE)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Sandy Creek Cougars (Fairfield, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. Sutton will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 41-27 non-league loss to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE).
