January 24, 2023: Powers, OR 97466 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Myrtle Point Bobcats (Myrtle Point, OR) and the host Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR), saw Myrtle Point's basketball squad overcome Powers by a tally of 39-21.
With the victory, Myrtle Point improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Riddle (Riddle, OR) to confront the Irish in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, January 27. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 2-18. Riddle lost 45-17 in their recent league challenge against Days Creek (Days Creek, OR)
Next up, the Cruisers confront the Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR) in a 1A Skyline contest, on Friday, January 27. Powers will attempt to better on its 7-4 season record.
