Illinois High School Basketball - Serena nudges Reed-Custer
January 24, 2023: Serena, IL 60549 Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Reed-Custer Comets (Braidwood, IL), 32-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Serena upgrades its record to 18-8 on the season. The Huskers host DePue (DePue, IL) to clash with the Little Giants in a Little Ten bout on Thursday, January 26. The Little Giants go into the bout with a record of 7-13. DePue lost 50-22 in their recent non-league bout against Earlville (Earlville, IL)
Next up, the Comets clash with the Peotone Blue Devils (Peotone, IL) in a Illinois Central 8 bout, on Thursday, January 26. Reed-Custer will attempt to upgrade on its 12-14 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 22-0 record after their 57-21 non-league win over Watseka (Watseka, IL).
