South Dakota High School Basketball - DeSmet trounced by Sioux Valley
January 24, 2023: DeSmet, SD 57231 In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Sioux Valley Cossacks basketball team scored a decisive 45-21 triumph over the DeSmet Bulldogs.
In their next game, the Cossacks face the Flandreau Fliers (Flandreau, SD) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 3. Sioux Valley will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Fliers enter the match with a 7-1 record after their 25-20 non-league win over Parker (Parker, SD).
With the defeat, DeSmet moves to 1-1 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Elkton (Elkton, SD) to face the Elks in a non-league match on Friday, February 3. The Elks enter the match with a record of 1-1.
