The Gilroy Mustangs basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors to 20 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Gilroy will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 24-20 non-league loss to Menlo School (Atherton, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 4-9.

The Aztec Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA). The Cardinals come into the contest with a 0-7 record.
