Utah High School Basketball - Dixie overwhelms Cedar
January 24, 2024: Cedar City, UT 84720 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Dixie Flyers (St. George, UT) and the host Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT), saw Dixie's basketball squad wallop Cedar by a tally of 86-51.
With the victory, Dixie improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Flyers host Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT) to confront the Mustangs in a 4A Region 9 challenge on Friday, January 26. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 9-7. Crimson Cliffs won 65-64 in their recent league challenge against Pine View (St. George, UT)
Next up, the Reds confront the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Friday, January 26. Cedar will attempt to improve on its 3-14 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 92-62 league loss to Pine View (St. George, UT).
