Illinois High School Basketball - Clemente crushes Phoenix Military
January 24, 2024: Chicago, IL 60612 Clemente Wildcats (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Phoenix Military Firebirds (Chicago, IL), 60-33 in a league bout.
With the win, Clemente upgrades its record to 15-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Dunbar (Chicago, IL) to play the Mightymen in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 27. The Mightymen go into the bout with a record of 17-6. Dunbar won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Hubbard (Chicago, IL)
Next up, the Firebirds play the Rickover Naval Seadragons (Chicago, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 29. Phoenix Military will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Seadragons go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 65-17 league loss to Uplift (Chicago, IL).
