January 24, 2024: Lynchburg, VA 24502 The Heritage Pioneers (Lynchburg, VA) basketball crushed the visiting Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA), 79-25 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Pioneers (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Seminole test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Liberty Christian was trounced by Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 51-50, in a league test.
The Eagles now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Randolph-Henry for a James River test on Friday, January 26. Prince Edward County will encounter a Statesmen squad coming off a 42-41 league win over Lunenburg Central (Victoria, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 6-6.
