South Carolina High School Basketball - King's Academy ripped by Marlboro Academy
January 24, 2024: Bennettsville, SC 29512 The Marlboro Academy Dragons basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting King's Academy Lions to 29 in the Dragons league triumph on Wednesday.
The Dragons now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dillon Christian for a SCISA AA Region III contest on Friday, January 26. Marlboro Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 76-40 league win over Lee Academy (Bishopville, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 8-8.
The Lions (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Conway Christian (Conway, SC). The Eagles enter the SCISA AA Region III contest with a 5-6 record. In their last contest, Conway Christian was routed by Marlboro Academy (Bennettsville, SC), 65-42, in a league contest.
