The Loara Saxons basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting La Quinta Aztecs to 48 in the Saxons league triumph on Wednesday.

The Saxons now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Los Amigos for a Garden Grove contest on Friday, January 26. Loara will meet a Lobos team coming off a 61-59 league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 16-7.

The Aztecs (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Santiago (Garden Grove, CA). The Cavaliers enter the Garden Grove contest with a 12-13 record. In their last contest, Santiago ran past Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA), 61-43, in a league contest.
