Alabama High School Basketball - South Lamar knocked off by Pickens County
January 24, 2024: Reform, AL 35481 The Pickens County Tornadoes basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting South Lamar Stallions to 43 in the Tornadoes league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gordo for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 25. Pickens County will battle a Green Wave team coming off a 64-49 league loss to Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Green Wave record now stands at 3-9.
The Stallions (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lamar County (Vernon, AL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-14 record.
