California High School Basketball - Bear River nips Center
January 24, 2024: Antelope, CA 95843 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) and the host Center Cougars (Antelope, CA), saw Bear River's basketball squad hold off Center by a tally of 55-53.
With the victory, Bear River improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Bruins host Twelve Bridges (Lincoln, CA) to play the Raging Rhinos in a challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Raging Rhinos come into the challenge with a record of 10-11. Twelve Bridges won 59-40 in their recent league challenge against Colfax (Colfax, CA)
Next up, the Cougars play the Marysville Indians (Marysville, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Center will attempt to improve on its 12-5 season record.
