Kentucky High School Basketball - Crittenden County nips Lexington Christian
January 24, 2024: Marion, KY 42064 Crittenden County Rockets (Marion, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lexington Christian Eagles (Lexington, KY), 56-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Crittenden County upgrades its record to 12-7 on the campaign. The Rockets host Pikeville (Pikeville, KY) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 14-2. Pikeville won 61-41 in their recent non-league bout against Harlan (Harlan, KY)
Next up, the Eagles play the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. Lexington Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 60-39 league win over Burgin (Burgin, KY).
