January 24, 2024: Apple Valley, MN 55124 In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Eastview Lightning (Apple Valley, MN) basketball squad felled the visiting Mahtomedi Zephyrs (Mahtomedi, MN), by a margin of 71-60.
The Lightning (12-5) will now prepare for their outing against Rosemount (Rosemount, MN). The Irish go into the AAAA Section 3 outing with a 12-4 record. In their last outing, Rosemount thwarted Farmington (Farmington, MN), 78-55, in a non-league outing.
The Zephyrs now own a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to North for a AAA Section 4 outing on Tuesday, January 30. Mahtomedi will encounter a Polars squad coming off a 54-53 non-league loss to Tartan (Oakdale, MN). The Polars record now stands at 3-13.
