Illinois High School Basketball - Dixon holds off Eastland
January 24, 2024: Dixon, IL 61021 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses (Dixon, IL) and the visiting Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL), saw Dixon's basketball squad hold off Eastland by a tally of 23-17.
With the victory, Dixon improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a challenge, on Thursday, January 25. Eastland will attempt to improve on its 21-1 season record. The Missiles come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 30-21 league loss to Eastland (Lanark, IL).
