January 24, 2024: Redding, CT 06896 The Joel Barlow Falcons ice hockey squad scored 5 points and restricted the visiting Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo Mountaineers to 1 in the Falcons league victory on Wednesday.
With the victory, Joel Barlow moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Watertown/Pomperaug (Watertown, CT) to face the Indians in a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 9-3.
The Mountaineers now sport a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Newtown for a Southern Connecticut - DIII contest on Monday, January 29.
