North Lawndale Phoenix (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 38-35 in a league bout.

With the win, North Lawndale upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Westinghouse (Chicago, IL) to play the Warriors in a bout on Thursday, January 25.
