North Carolina High School Basketball - Walkertown overwhelms Thomasville
January 24, 2024: Walkertown, NC 27051 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Walkertown Wolfpack (Walkertown, NC) and the visiting Thomasville Bulldogs (Thomasville, NC), saw Walkertown's basketball squad wallop Thomasville by a count of 62-39.
With the victory, Walkertown upgrades its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to West Stokes (King, NC) to play the Wildcats in a challenge on Friday, January 26. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 13-4. West Stokes won 41-17 in their recent league challenge against McMichael (Mayodan, NC)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 26. Thomasville will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 43-41 non-league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC).
