January 24, 2025: Alton, IL 62002 In Friday's non-league test, the Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lutheran Cougars (St. Peters, MO), by a final score of 67-46.
Next, the Redbirds clash with the East St. Louis Flyers (East St. Louis, IL) in a Southwestern test, on Friday, January 31. Alton will attempt to upgrade on its 16-5 season record.
The Cougars (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Liberty (Lake St. Louis, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, Liberty bounced Howell (St. Charles, MO), 58-44, in a non-league test.
