South Dakota High School Basketball - Britton-Hecla bests Warner
January 24, 2025: Warner, SD 57479 The Britton-Hecla Braves basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Warner Monarchs to 33 in the Braves non-league triumph on Friday.
The Braves now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Leola/Frederick for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Britton-Hecla will play a Titans team coming off a 68-64 non-league loss to Hanson (Alexandria, SD). The Titans record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Warner falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD) to play the Mustangs in a B Region 1 game on Friday, January 31. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 7-6. Waubay/Summit won 43-41 in their recent league game against Aberdeen Christian (Aberdeen, SD)
