The Rabun Gap-Nacoochee Eagles basketball squad (Rabun Gap, GA), was crushed 67-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Buford Wolves (Buford, GA)

With the victory, Buford advances its record to 17-3 on the year. The Wolves host Central Gwinnett (Lawrenceville, GA) to meet the Black Knights in a AAAAAA Region 8 battle on Monday, January 27. The Black Knights enter the battle with a record of 13-9. Central Gwinnett won 67-66 in their recent league battle against Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA)

The Eagles now own a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Asheville School (Independent) for a NCISAA Carolinas battle on Tuesday, January 28. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee will meet a Blues squad coming off a 61-52 league loss to Asheville Christian Academy (Swannanoa, NC). The Blues record now stands at 11-5.
